The Destructive Impact On Lives Caused by Sociopaths

You are instinctual, you know something is not quite right with someone you just met. If you are reading this, it's probably too late...Numerous things have happened, most likely within your personal relationship and/or within your family or to a close family member and you are so frustrated and angry, you are now seeking answers to what the hell is wrong with this person and is there a cure. There is not.

The information on many websites will tell you that the signs or symptoms of the Manic phase of bipolar disorder and is in black text here. I have translated these terms into real life actions from our experience with a Bipolar Sociopath in red text.
  • Euphoria, He is my soul mate! (Again??? New month, new soul mate) He understands me and treats me like gold, we have the same goals, he's wonderful! A month or two later, she says, It was a toxic relationship, I never loved him, we had problems from the beginning, he's an asshole.
  • Extreme optimism, Unrealistic thinking without the benefit of any financial resources, family resources skills, etc.
  • Inflated self-esteem, I'm a great mother! (After losing custody of two and giving the third up for adoption, not in that order)
  • Poor judgment, Lying! Meeting men on line, posting children's picture on sites where you talk about sexual positions, sending pornographic pictures of self over the internet, sexting while in a relationship, cheating when you and your child may be kicked out for cheating, taking your child to bars and staying out till closing time...
  • Rapid speech
  • Racing thoughts
  • Aggressive behavior, Physically abusive to others, material destruction such as car or computer, ending up in jail and taking court ordered anger management courses
  • Agitation or irritation, All the time!!! Who will I be mad at today?
  • Increased physical activity, Let's go party!
  • Risky behavior, See Poor Judgment
  • Spending sprees or unwise financial choices, Enrolling for college, attending one class and then quitting without withdrawing, not paying car insurance, etc.
  • Increased drive to perform or achieve goals, Going to the court house first thing in the morning and getting a restraining order against someone falsely accusing them of rape and child molestation  just because you were mad. Doing it twice. Taking your child to numerous doctors to look for sexual abuse to make a case, despite being told by numerous doctors that there isn't any evidence. Calling the police screaming frantically to a 911 officer, while hiding the children in a closet and telling them your once soul mate is violating the restraining order, when they are in fact out of town.
  • Increased sex drive, See Poor Judgment
  • Decreased need for sleep, Up all night, sleep all day, how's that song go? Benadryl abuse, it's great for the kids too!
  • Inability to concentrate
  • Careless or dangerous use of drugs or alcohol, Everyday is Miller time, why not, their not buying
  • Frequent absences from work or school, Not only do they not get up but they don't take their child to school either.
  • Delusions or a break from reality (psychosis) This is the most serious. You will never ever, ever be able to get through to them unless they are in treatment and even then it's extremely difficult. If they see the error of their ways, it's momentarily and most of the time they don't mean it when they say sorry and instead resent you for bringing it up. They are the constant VICTIM, everything is always done to them, they have NO personal responsibility nor do they care about anyone but themselves. Year after year they will repeat the same old tired lines, no personal growth, same pattern of self-destruction. This person will also make up things about everything, from her education to her job, to her family...It never ends.
  • Poor performance at work or school, These people are often underemployed, working part time, if they can hold a job longer than a few weeks or months. They have a lot of complications getting along with anyone for any good period of time. They may ask you to make a large purchase to go into a business for themselves and then just change their minds and leave you with the bill.
  • Stupidity and ignorance, about nearly everything except how they "feel" and what they "need" from you to be stable and happy.
  • Fearful and paranoid, if you can get a leash on this dog, they will still bark a good game, but are terrified of going to court. But only if you can shut them down and gain the upper hand. Act fast! Find a good lawyer and give them everything you have. It's worth it.

The Depressive phase of bipolar disorder are once again in black text and the translation in red text.
  • Sadness, When they realize they can no longer fool you, nor get their way.
  • Hopelessness, See Sadness
  • Suicidal thoughts or behavior, I wish! These people care more about themselves than anyone else in every way , I could not imagine our BP person ever having the guts to harm herself.
  • Anxiety, That's when they've screwed up again and are harassing you over the consequences they will have to suffer due to your beautiful court order. Just blow it off.
  • Guilt, 5...4...3...2...1...Gee glad that's over! I feel much better now and look...I now hate you for making me feel guilty.
  • Sleep problems, See Above
  • Low appetite or increased appetite, As long as I'm not cooking, I'm cool.
  • Fatigue, Let's see... Fatigue, Fibromalgia, what else can I come up with? Our BP is a hypochondriac.
  • Loss of interest in daily activities, Working, Cleaning, Cooking and Taking care of my kids gets in the way of my phone and Facebook time.
  • Problems concentrating, Unless I'm on the Phone, my Facebook page or lying...
  • Irritability, I hate you because your too controlling, how dare you make me leave the bar on our wedding anniversary just because I was talking more to that other guy than you. After I get arrested tonight for punching, kicking, biting you and breaking the windshield of the car you just bought me, I think I'll tell the cop driving me to the station that your molest the children if I'm not home ...again.
  • Chronic pain without a known cause, Our Bipolar person, a chronic pain without a known cause
  • Frequent absences from work or school, See Above
  • Poor performance at work or school, See Above
The absolute worst thing about this particular Bipolar person is the LYING!!!
Lying is the worst because when these people do it, they do it well. Expert level. If they get the upper hand, it WILL cost you your home, your children, your money, your freedom and possibly your life.Don't take for granted that you are not dating a sociopath.

Bipolar people use these words and phrases frequently:

  • Stable
  • Toxic
  • Healthy
  • Cut me to the core
  • Icing on the cake
  • Abusive, Emotionally Abusive, Verbally Abusive, Sexually Abusive
  • Controlling
  • Stress
  • Drama
  • I don't want to fight anymore
  • Living in fear
  • I'm worried about you
  • I don't feel safe around you
  • Out to get me
  • Peace and Happiness
  • Our relationship is over, it's for the best - (fuck the kids)
  • I deserve...
  • I need...
  • I feel...
  • Your controlling
  • Your unstable
  • It's unfair...bla, bla, bla, over and over again, for "6" Fucking Years!!!!!

My first impressions of our sociopath:

  • Always dressed to show off her cleavage and her fat ass
  • She is a victim of sexual abuse
  • Her mother had several marriages, she had several step-fathers
  • She is overly personal
  • She is too friendly
  • She needs a place to live and soon because of the "abuse"
  • She wants to get pregnant right away
  • She's still in another relationship with a so called "abusive asshole"
  • She's pregnant right now
  • She has a record civil and/or criminal, lots of family drama - look into it!
  • She claims her family abused her
  • A sibling/parent is in jail
  • You met her on line
  • She wants to get to know and be part of your family really fast
  • Let the lies begin, you'll have to write em down to keep track
  • Will pull you away from your family because they don't accept her and wont run to another state last minute for your wedding.
  • Don't let your this person alienate you from your son or daughter, stand up for what you know and confront her with full support of other family. Better to be safe than sorry.
  • If worse comes to worse, go to the wedding and STOP IT unless she's pregnant then you will have to get married or allow the marriage to ensure more legal rights later. Take this time to save for the attorneys retainer.
Bipolar Disorder is often accompanied by a personality disorder such as Borderline or BPD. Our BP has all the signs of this and furthermore, she has no soul. Really, no soul. After 6 years it's the same story, word for word, like a script. No personal growth other than her using those words to describe all her personal growth she claims to have obtained over the years. Man to man, house to house, I have a plethora of family support, I have no family support, my mom is a suicidal alcoholic and I'm not speaking to her, but hey, why don't I stay with my mom during visitation with our child, other than introducing my already emotionally damaged child to the new Joe blow I just moved in with, if you think that will be safer???

Good Luck!

Set Me Free...

Passions are the "to do", list of the soul, an ever present torch in the darkness, a persistent beckoning, the promise of escape, often buried beneath  the cumbersome mass of the "to do", list of life. Passions are those things that we work toward, for the pure joy of doing, for the pure joy of being. Passions are the direct reply of the soul to the questions the heart the mind can not alone answer. Without our passions, we are less alive, we are less connected to our higher power, to ourselves, thus to others. Without passion, we are devoid of life and happiness. Everything is nothing... Nothing is everything...Give me nothing. Give me no law, give me no currency, nor shelter, nor clothes, nor entitlements, but save for one. Give me freedom.

There is no passion to be found in the day to day struggles of this life. There is no passion in survival.
Set me free to run naked in the fields, among the trees, grasses and flowers, set me free to bathe in streams and ponder the vastness of the sea without end, set me free to lay under the heavens and count the stars, set me free to sleep when I am sleepy, to eat when I am hungry and to hunt and cook over a fire of my making, with what I plant and grow. Set me free to be with with those I have brought forth and those who have made me and those who are like minded to be in community with me. Set me free to teach my children, set me free to pray to whomever I want, whenever I want without end. Set me free to have the time my creator gave to me alone to walk in this world.

Set me free.....

Keeping Our Heads: 2010 Kentucky Senate Elections

Keeping Our Heads: 2010 Kentucky Senate Elections: "Like many of my fellow Americans, I couldn't sleep again last night. In my quest for something stronger than my Sleepy time tea, I had come ..."

2010 Kentucky Senate Elections

Like many of my fellow Americans, I couldn't sleep again last night. In my quest for something stronger than my Sleepy time tea, I had come across C-SPAN, holding a debate for the 2010 Senate Elections in Kentucky. Surely I would be sleeping in no time.

Instead I sat up and took notice of a man named Rand Paul, an ophthalmologist and a Republican. Right away, I couldn't escape the fact that this candidate was actually providing, though perhaps vaguely, some answers to the questions posed to him in what seemed to be a thoughtful, honest approach. Unlike most candidates, Mr. Paul  didn't make any "pie in the sky" promises, as a matter of fact, he never promised any thing, other than to take a good hard look at the situations facing Kentucky and make the decisions then, even if they weren't popular.

On the other side of the stage, thin skinned lawyer and Democrat, Jack Conway, demonstrated circle talk, repetition and hostility, much like I have witnessed in court when counsel is losing. If that type of action works for Mr. Conway, perhaps he can do more good in his current position, than as a Senator. We have enough leaders intimidating the American people, we don't need another.

Mr. Rand, expressed that each and every program he could influence in the Senate needed to be looked at long and hard and left me with little doubt that he would be putting Kentucky on a well-balanced diet, bringing back industry and jobs. He also expressed continually, that less government, rather than more, was the way to go. I was practically applauding him there in my nightgown, when Mr. Paul spoke of allowing, The No Child Left Behind Act", to expire and lessening the Department of Education's dictatorship in our lives. On a down note, a mention was made that perhaps educational loans would be a problem, but if our kids are treated as cattle, restricted to a dumbed-down curriculum and we as parents are unable to do whats best for our own children, loans are the least of our problems.

I credit Mr. Conway with his experience and service to Kentucky thus far, but I got the feeling that his hard work of paper-pushing and hand-pumping has been little more than the obligatory riding the of coattails of the agenda set before him, come what may. Was there ever a personal initiative or original idea of Mr. Conways? I would have been interested to hear of such, instead Mr. Conway filled up his time with defending himself against Mr. Paul and annoyingly imploring the audience for their vote.

It was apparent that the drug epidemic in Kentucky, was a sore spot for Mr. Conway. I had thought he would regale us with a story of a drug addict, much like the circle stories of the hardware store owner and the single mothers, but once again, I was disappointed.

Overall, Mr. Conway used the same old, tired, worn out rhetoric, telling us of the all the struggling Americans he had met along his journey. Americans don't need your pity Mr. Conway, they need for the government to stop wasting our money, stop taxing, regulating mandating and pushing our industries and our jobs over seas, to put a cap on foreign trade, especially with China, and let us "poor", Americans make decisions for our children and ourselves on on local level, where we live,  instead of having the government insinuate that we are too stupid to know what our needs are and how to manage them for ourselves.

Mr Paul sincerely acknowledged the problems, that's a darn good start. Secondly, he addressed waste, waste of money, waste of government man-hours/government pay, waste of paper (the health care bill and it's two-thousand some odd, unread pages), waste of time and the waste of  just plain, old, bad legislation that is costly, ineffective and divisive to this country, such as, "The No Child Left Behind Act".

The verdict is in: Mr. Rand Paul for Senate!
